Triangle Physiotherapy follows a “no-waiting” policy. Appointments are available as soon as the next day or sometimes on the same day depending upon your convenience & our availability.

Please plan on coming 10 minutes before the start of your appointment to complete your new patient paperwork which includes information about your injury & a brief medical history. Bring along your physician’s referral, your insurance card (if applicable) and wear comfortable clothes.
When you come in to Triangle Physiotherapy for the first time, our Registered Physiotherapist will do a detailed evaluation of your condition and identify the source of your discomfort/dysfunction. Each patient’s situation is unique and a treatment plan will be devised especially for you.
You will then be given a treatment session which generally consists of various hands-on manual therapy techniques, modalities like laser or shockwave and active exercise programs. You will also receive instruction in a home exercise program as well as education on proper body mechanics and posture to prevent re-injury.

Your first appointment at Triangle Physiotherapy is 1 hour long and will involve a detailed assessment by the physiotherapist followed by a treatment session.
Subsequent treatment sessions will be 30 minutes to an hour long depending upon your condition.

Physiotherapy is considered a primary care health profession. This means that people have direct access to physiotherapy services without the need for a physician referral. However, in order for physiotherapy services to be covered under some extended health insurance plans, you may require a doctor’s referral.

Triangle Physiotherapy is not an OHIP funded clinic. Beginning April 2005, OHIP only covers Physiotherapy treatments for people aged 19 & under & 65 & over at Designated Physiotherapy Clinics.

The Physiotherapist will perform a detailed assessment, discuss your problem and formulate an individualized treatment plan by determining your needs & goals. The frequency of your visits will depend upon your condition & the initial evaluation outcome.

Upon your request, an Initial Evaluation Report will be sent to your family doctor, outlining the results of the assessment & the treatment plan devised for you.

I have been referred to another physiotherapy clinic by my doctor. Can I come to your clinic instead?

Yes. It does not matter where you go for your physiotherapy treatments as long as the Physiotherapist is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Orthotics are inserts that comfortably fit into shoes. They are designed to support and improve the functioning of feet. Health care practitioners will prescribe orthotics to patients suffering from chronic foot or lower limb problems or to athletes to help maximize performance during sport. Orthotics can decrease pain, not only in the foot, but in other parts of the body such as the knee, hip and lower back. Our Chiropodist will be happy to give you more information on Orthotics.

The clinic is located on the north-east corner of Dundas Street W and East Mall Crescent in the Remax bldg, opposite Petro Canada, near Cloverdale Mall. There is free parking available. Make sure you obtain a parking permit from the receptionist upon your arrival.
Buses 111 & 112 to & from the Kipling Subway Station will stop at the intersection of Dundas St W & Billingham Rd.
Buses running on Dundas Street from Mississauga will also make stops at the intersection of Dundas St W & Billingham Rd.

The clinic is located in the Limelight Condos just across from Sheridan College & Square One Shopping Centre. Mississauga Transit Buses 26, 28, 20, 61, 9 & 6 will all bring you to within a short walk to the clinic. Free underground parking is available as well.

The clinic is located on Dufferin Street, near the Lady York Foods plaza, one light south of Lawrence Avenue. TTC buses 29 running along Dufferin Street will bring you to within walking distance of the clinic.

The clinic is located at 2520 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga on the 2nd Floor. Enter through the blue canopy entrance on the Erin Mills side of the building. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
Landmarks: Across the street from Credit Valley Hospital and Erin Mills Town Centre.
PARKING: Metered underground parking.  To get into the parking garage, enter the driveway from the Erin Mills side of the building and follow signs to Commercial/Retail.

FCAMPT stands for ‘Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy’. In Canada, we recognize these physiotherapists through the designation of ‘FCAMPT’ or by the CAMPT-Certified logo featured on business cards, websites, clinic referral pads and on signage within clinics. CAMPT-Certified physiotherapists have advanced training and clinical abilities in Orthopaedic assessment as well as manual (hands-on) therapeutic treatment techniques.

Payment for services provided is preferred upfront. However, if your insurance allows online submission of claims, we can submit the claim for you and direct the reimbursement to you.
